About Irinox

Irinox was founded in 1989 in Corbanese, in Italy's Treviso province, and has grown into a world leader in blast chillers and shock freezers. Its professional machines are used in pastry shops, bakeries, restaurants, hotels and food production to bring food down to safe temperatures quickly while preserving texture and flavour. The company is a Certified B Corporation and still designs and builds its equipment in Italy.

In 2005 Irinox launched Irinox Home to bring blast chilling into residential kitchens, and the line is now sold in both the United States and Canada. Home products include Freddy, a built-in multifunction blast chiller, the freestanding Fresco and Fresco Élite, and Zero, a built-in vacuum sealer. The idea is to chill or freeze freshly cooked food rapidly so it keeps its quality much longer, with Pacific Specialty Brands distributing the line in Canada.
