Strata buildings and patio homes
Many Sidney condos and townhouse complexes have rules about service visits, elevator bookings and moving appliances in common areas. Mention them when you book and we'll plan the visit around them. In-suite laundry in these buildings often vents through a long duct to an outside wall, and lint build-up in that run is one of the most common reasons a dryer takes several cycles to dry a load.
Close to the ferry terminal
Sidney sits just south of Swartz Bay, so when one of our Island trips arrives through that terminal, Sidney and North Saanich are natural early stops. Trips are still scheduled in advance and depend on sailing times and demand, so we cannot offer same-day visits, but we will give you a clear appointment date.
North Saanich acreages
Larger North Saanich properties often have a second refrigerator or chest freezer in a garage or outbuilding, and some are on private wells. Garages that get cold in winter can confuse some refrigerators' temperature controls, and well water can carry sediment that restricts washer inlet screens and fridge filters. We look at both when diagnosing these setups.
